Vintage Alvarez Foxhollow 5061 Acoustic Guitar Made By Kazuo Yairi Japan Rare in Fort Worth, Texas

For your enjoyment here is a Vintage Alvarez Foxhollow 5061 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar Made By Yairi In Japan Rare. This guitar is a very Rare model. The top is laminated spruce. The neck, back and sides are tiger stripped laminated maple. I purchased this guitar many years ago from a man in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It is in the same condition as when I purchased it. The nut and the bridge saddle are not glued in place. When I received the guitar the action was to low so I cut some thin brass sheet metal pieces and used it as shims for the nut and the bridge saddle. It plays pretty good and sounds good too. The inside paper label looks to be a copy. There is a lot of play ware on this guitar. Looks like the guitar was dropped at one time. There is a dent on the side, a crack along the back seem and a crack at the neck joint. There is a slight lifting of the bridge and it has not moved since I have owned this guitar. The back of the neck has a volute and a very comfortable V feel profile. The gold tuners look original to me. The frets most likely are newer and the guitar finish looks original to me.
